DAY 5: Slip-Slap-Slop

Slip-Slap-Slop!  SLIP on a t-shirt, SLAP on a cap, and SLOP on the sunscreen. This was a sun awareness campaign that ran in Australia a number years back because of huge concerns of kids, sun damage, and skin cancer. You child’s skin is very prone to damage early in life that leads to skin cancer later in adult life.

Remember, that big fire ball of radiation is in the sky EVERYDAY. Keep your child safe. Think of the sun as a disease and keep your child protected from it. Yes, we need vitamin D from the sun but if you’re getting a tan, you’ve had too much. This ain’t the 80′s and there’s no such thing as a healthy tan.
